Gray Plant Mooty, a prominent national law firm, is currently seeking a Business Development and Marketing Manager. This position is responsible for providing support to practice groups, client teams, and individuals on client development and business development initiatives, including practice group marketing plans, request for proposals (RFPs), and client presentations. This individual will manage all aspects of business development and marketing for select practice groups and teams, including strategic practice planning, marketing planning, cross-practice marketing, business development sponsorships, and events. This position will identify and implement new business development initiatives to grow existing client relationships and foster new business, and oversee planning and development for assigned practice group-specific advertising, including budgeting and forecasting, as well as lead the strategic development process for each campaign in partnership with an external agency.
In addition, the manager will facilitate and coordinate RFP responses and act as primary contact and project manager for the firm?s RFP process, advise attorneys on presentation development, and develop tactics for targeting specific clients or industry groups.

The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and directed and will have 8+ years of business development and marketing experience with a professional services firm. Five plus years management experience, including delegation, evaluation and development of staff and a bachelor?s degree in business or related field.
